Pulcinella's is a small, neighborhood Italian restaurant that has been one of our favorites. It serves up great Italian food at very reasonable prices.

We've visited Pulchinella's several times and have always been impressed by the service, food, and atmosphere. We love the house salad dressing they serve -- entrees are always served with a side salad -- as well as the fresh baked bread. The servers at Pulcinella's always thoughtfully bring the dressing in a cup on the side, so you can choose how much to consume. This is just a small thing, but indicative of the customer-friendly culture that prevails there. The owners of the restaurant are regularly there making the rounds.

It's also a popular place for local take-out. While we've never tried this, it seems like the front counter is always busy with orders from people bringing food home for dinner.

The restaurant itself is rather small -- a single room with perhaps 25 tables, including booths. These tables seem to always be just about full for dinner, even on weeknights. This popularity attests to the good food and prices. Though always full, it's never seemed noisy.

We recommend Pulcinella's to anyone who hasn't been. Try the baked ziti or lasagne, both of which we've found delicious.
